How to use the My Medic™ TFAK Nylon Bag Trauma Kit?

Assess the situation: Ensure that the area is safe before approaching the injured person.
Stop severe bleeding:

Apply the Rapid Tourniquet above the injury if there is significant bleeding from a limb. Tighten it until the bleeding stops.
For moderate bleeding, use Compressed Krinkle Gauze or QuikClot Dressing to pack the wound and apply pressure.

Apply a chest seal: If the person has a chest injury, use the Chest Seals from the kit to cover the wound, preventing air from entering the chest cavity.
Treat for shock:

Use the Space Blanket to keep the person warm.
Elevate the legs slightly, if appropriate, to help with blood circulation.

Immobilize injuries: If there are fractures or sprains, use the Emergency Pressure Bandage to stabilize the area.
CPR: If necessary, use the CPR Shield and Ventilation Tube to safely administer CPR.
Other tools:

Use Tweezers for removing debris from wounds.
EMT Shears can be used to cut clothing away to expose the injury.
Disposable Gloves should be worn to protect yourself and reduce the risk of infection.

Communicate: Use the Whistle to signal for help, if needed, and the Felt Marker to document key information (such as the time the tourniquet was applied).

After stabilizing the patient, seek professional medical help as soon as possible.
